An opportunity has arisen for a committed and conscientious individual who would like to contribute to the success of our school by working as a Cover Supervisor within the Curriculum Support Team.
The successful candidate will provide in-class support to teachers, and supervise whole classes to cover the short term absences of teachers. It is essential that you have cover supervision experience, and that you are able to gain the respect of students and engender positive attitudes to learning.
Training will be provided, and all support staff at CNS are involved in a review and development process. CNS has high aspirations for all its staff and students and provides excellent support, both professionally and personally.

Learning Support Assistant
Permanent post, 31 hours per week, term time plus one week
Grade 2 (NJC scale points 3-5): actual starting salary £12,960 per annum
An opportunity has arisen in the SEND department for a Learning Support Assistant to join the team. The role of the Learning Support Assistant involves specialised support for those students in school who have additional needs/SEND.
The successful candidate will need to possess a genuine interest in young people and an insight into how they learn. Patience, flexibility and firmness are very important personal traits alongside good literacy/numeracy and ICT skills. The successful candidate should show the ability to use initiative to support students' individual needs and to work as part of a large team. A commitment to, and experience of working with, young people with SEND and emotional/social difficulties would be an advantage. Most of the LSA's work takes place in mainstream classrooms or in small groups.
