Behaviour Policy

We have reviewed and updated our behaviour policy for 2019/20 and it can be viewed HERE.  The core expectations of being punctual, polite and prepared have been presented to all students through assemblies and are displayed around the school in classrooms.  These will be consistently reinforced by staff through tutor time and lessons to ensure that the school continues to be a safe and positive environment for learning. 

A slight change has been made to consequences where behaviour falls below these expectations and these are reflected on the second poster below.  Each time a student receives 5 negatives on Go4Schools, they will be expected to complete a 30 minute after-school detention within 48 hours.  Parents will be contacted to inform them if this is the case. 

As a school we very much appreciate the support of parents and carers in helping children to meet these expectations so that they can enjoy a happy and successful experience at CNS.
