Cricket team success

I like hitting the ball and feel proud when I score a run.”

 The CNS Y8 cricket club won the Norfolk Cricket Board, Schools Cricket League Division 8A last term and received their trophies from Headteacher Mr.Nixon in September.

 The boys were in Year 7 at the time. Last year they won the Y8B division and were promoted to Y8A. The team also came fourth in the Y9 league, playing with cricketers two years older than them.

 Their enthusiasm for the sport is unbelievable, I may not be the best cricket coach but I try to instill a love for the game. You couldn’t want a harder working group of boys!”

Cricket team coach, Mr.Ready.

 For their part, the boys really enjoy their cricket matches;

“It’s a fun sport.”

“It’s a nice way of making friends”

“It’s great being a team and getting to know each other.”

 Cricket is open to boys and girls at CNS.
