Excellent GCSE results at CNS
CNS students have achieved another set of excellent GCSE results this year with 72% of students reaching at least a level 4 in English and Maths, and 14% achieving the ‘exceptional performance’ new grade 9.
“CNS is full of very happy students who have done tremendously well. Given these are new and more challenging qualifications, we are even more pleased with our headline figure which contains a number of record breaking performances at all levels. Of the 166 students who got a grade 4 or above, an incredible 33 students (14% of the whole cohort) achieved the ‘exceptional performance’ grade 9. My thanks to our fantastic students who worked so hard, the staff who are simply brilliant, Governors whose dedication and commitment knows no bounds and parents whose support has played a key role in these outcomes. In addition I would also like to thank Ormiston and especially OAT East who continually provide excellent support for the school. On a personal note, it is very pleasing to be able to leave CNS on such a high with record results. 107 years of excellence continues.
