Festival of Reading

Last week we held our Festival of Reading during which there were a series of events and activities to  celebrate the learning and enjoyment we experience through reading a range of fiction and nonfiction. 

Students were able to participate in book swap shops, literary quizzes and creative writing competitions.

Across the curriculum, all subject areas focused on reading extracts or texts to develop our students’ cultural literacy.

Our Year 7s had a great time participating in the Opening Lines Trail around the school and it was lovely to see them so enthusiastic.
