Festival of Reading - rescheduled activities
One unfortunate result of the snow days was the impact on the CNS Festival of Reading programme.
We have rescheduled a number of the events as follows:
- Year 7 and 8 literature quiz will now be taking place on Thursday 15th in the Library.
- Creative writing competition deadline has been extended- please hand entries into your English teacher.
- Book quizzes and the CNS student favourite book poll will still go ahead during tutor time. Prizes for the best tutor group participation and correct answers to the quiz. Deadline is Thursday 16th . Student Council leaders are supporting this.
- Any models or pictures of CNS students with their creation of literary inspired cakes can be handed into student services for judging. The deadline for entries has been extended to Monday 19th March.
- The literacy character competition will be rescheduled in the summer term.
