Festival of Reading 2021
CNS is delighted to announce our Festival of Reading starting Monday 7th June until Friday 11th June.
Throughout the week there will be a series of events and activities celebrating the learning and enjoyment we experience through reading a range of fiction and nonfiction. Students will be able to participate in lots of events such as literary quizzes, virtual author talks, competitions and form time activities.
Across the curriculum, all subject areas will be focusing on reading extracts or texts to develop our students’ cultural literacy. Students will be concentrating on learning and applying the academic language of each subject area through reading and interrogating various styles of texts.
