Guidance Day

Thank you to all the outside support services who came in to CNS on Thursday 30th November to provide sessions on Guidance Day. 

Year 7s were looking at healthy lifestyles as well as sessions on internet safety and well-being. 

Year 8s had an introduction to careers and work skills including enterprise and use of the 'Start' careers website. 

Year 9s had sex and relationships education, let by Mancroft Advisory Project and Drugs education delivered by the Matthew Project. 

Year 10s looked into the world of work and groups took part in the Young Enterprise Learn to Earn project, others worked with the alumni network, Future First.

Year 11s took part in 'Road to Success' led by MOCO and supported by a range of local employers. 

Sixth formers were planning their next steps and developing life skills through workshops.
