Headteacher's Message, Friday 12th November 2021

The strength of our school community shone through yesterday as we came together for Remembrance Day with musicians playing the Last Post across the school. Standing in the Study Hall, looking at the plaques commemorating CNS Old Boys from World War One, whilst listening to the Last Post is always a very powerful moment. My thanks to the music department and to our musicians who showed immense confidence playing before their peers and teachers on such a significant occasion. 

Year 11 have been superb in the way they have approached their mocks this week with three more days of exams next week. This will be followed by a careers day to help support future pathways both next year and longer-term.  

Attendance has improved this week remains strong and students are displaying very positive attitudes to their learning. Uniform and equipment checks are reminding students of the importance of being prepared for learning and thank you for supporting us with this.
