Headteacher's Message, Friday 17th March 2023

Last night I attended the Ormiston Awards Evening at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham where CNS celebrated three award winners. The evening was a wonderful event, with guest speakers and music from Ormiston students. I was delighted to be with Mrs Pentney and Theo to see them collect their awards, and honoured to collect Josh’s who was unable to attend due to university commitments.  Congratulations again to all our winners as well as those shortlisted and nominated. 

Thank you to all our students, staff and families who attended Super Science Saturday. The event was deemed a huge community success and a strong fund raiser for the CNSA who continue to support CNS with additional resourcing. 

The first CNS ensemble for the Norfolk Music Festival performed last night and the string group were awarded highly commended plus which is amazing. We have another eleven ensembles going out before next Thursday; there are seven secondary schools taking part throughout the festival with a total of 21 entries across the entire event, of which twelve are from CNS. 

I hope you have a good weekend and an enjoyable Mother’s Day which can be joyful for many whilst reflective for others.
