Headteacher's Message, Friday 18th March 2022
Thank you to all current and prospective students, staff and parents that came to Super Science Saturday last week. We have had a huge amount of positive feedback and it was wonderful to be able to open the doors to our community again. Thank you also to the CNSA for their contribution, time and effort.
We are speaking with students through their form representatives and house councils about how we coordinate future charity days at CNS and which charities we seek to raise funds for. I am encouraging students to consider how we might raise funds as well as the profile of the chosen charities. Students are considering fundraising ventures that make a difference to the way they think about the charity's cause, as well as making a difference to people's lives. With everyone facing immense financial challenges, we are mindful not to run too many events or place unrealistic expectations on families.
The cast and crew of the Sound of Music are getting very excited, and a little bit nervous about their performances next week. I am very much looking forward to seeing one of my favourite musicals and the wealth of talent at CNS.
I wish you all a safe and happy weekend in the fine spring weather.
