City of Norwich School

Headteacher's Message, Friday 20th July 2018

I would like to thank parents and carers for all their support this year of the CNS community and helping to create positive relationships with the school. I have thoroughly enjoyed the year and continue to feel privileged and proud to lead CNS in ensuring 'Excellence for All.'

Year 6 have had a fabulous induction week and presented themselves well with positive attitudes to learning. I would like to thank parents for their support this week and to all our staff for their hard work especially Ms Tillyard for her fantastic leadership of all the transition work.

Next year will see amendments to the school mobile phone policy with phones being permitted in school as long as they remain in bags and are not seen or heard throughout the school day; more detail of this will follow in September. I will value your support with this and request that parents use school systems to make any urgent contact with your children, rather than by phoning or texting during the school day.

Finally, a massive well done to our students who have succeeded in so many aspects of their school year and wish them all a very happy, safe and relaxing summer holiday. I also wish you all a very happy summer break and I look forward to the next academic year and welcoming new and current students back to CNS in September.
