Headteacher's Message, Friday 20th May 2022
Exams are in full swing, and we are making plans for transition, end-of-term events, and next year; it really does feel like the rhythm of the summer term has returned. Year 11 have conducted themselves superbly through the week and are taking each day and exam in their stride with maturity parents should be proud of.
Year 13s have also begun their exam season and leave us today to begin study leave. They are having their leavers' assembly and fun day today, and I suspect there will be a lot of tears as they celebrate their final day of school. They are a tremendous year group with a strong work ethic and impressive social conscience who have effectively contributed to making CNS a better school for everyone. As they venture forth, we should all be reassured that the world will be in good hands when these adept young people become the leaders and decision-makers of our future. We will miss them and on behalf of all the CNS community, I wish them good luck in their exams and success and good fortune in their lives ahead.
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.
