Headteacher's Message, Friday 26th May 2023
Today we said farewell to Year 11 at their celebratory and very emotional Leavers Assembly. Our Year 11 students have been a pleasure to work with and they will be sorely missed by their teachers and house teams. I wish them well in the remainder of their exams and look forward to welcoming many of our students back to CNS Sixth Form. I have had the pleasure of working with Minnie, Edi and Ben as Year 11 Head Students, who have been wonderful school ambassadors and student representatives.
This week Ms Nichols and I interviewed Year 12 students for the Head Student positions; the candidates were superb and making our decision was very difficult. I will share more next half term about the successful candidates. We are also currently recruiting Head Students for each house, who will then be able to apply to join my Head Student team. Student leadership is an established part of school development, and the aim is to empower students to take an active part in making the CNS community the best it can be for all its members.
I hope you all have a very enjoyable bank holiday and half term break, and I look forward to welcoming students back to school on June 5th for the final half term of the academic year.
