Headteacher's Message, Friday 9th February 2018
The new rewards system is now fully embedded in the school structure, with many students receiving positive marks for their attitude to learning as well as for producing excellent work. I am most pleased that the system recognises the achievement of students who get it right on a daily basis in all aspects of school life as well as rewarding those who have their own specific individual success. Please do take time to share this success with your child through the use of go4schools; if you are unable to access this please contact our data term on 01603 274000 extension 417 or 243.
I am sure you are as surprised as I am that it is half term already. The school terms all have their own focus and priorities and the first half of the Spring term can be challenging for students and staff with short days, cold weather and winter bugs. Many have been affected by colds and viruses this last few weeks and I hope everyone has time to rest and recover over the break to return full of vim and vigour for the next half term.
I too am looking forward to some rest over the half term aside plans for visiting and hosting friends. I hope you have a good weekend and enjoy whatever you have planned.
