International Artist visit

Tanya Goddard, an international artist and costume designer visited CNS to lead a Y12 Art class on sculpture. The students learnt how to create and sculpt a face, focusing on expressions. 

My goal is to express the character through the look in the eyes. The costuming is the final stage in completing the look.

The Y12 class were definitely engaged in the task at hand and were certainly very quiet and focused, aiming to get their sculptures just right.

It's really interesting and certainly different. I am really enjoying it and Tanya is a great teacher.
