CNS students achieve success in this year's UKMT maths challenge
This year, the Senior UKMT Maths challenge had to be done under very different circumstances. Candidates had to do the challenge in a new and more challenging online format under strict time limits. 30 students from CNS took part.
The grade boundaries this year were incredibly high, but we still had nine students getting Silver certificates!
Huge congratulations to Ben Searcy for getting Best in Year 12 and Fred Vickers Hastings who got best in school!
In addition, last month we had two students enter the Maths Olympiad for Girls, a completely different class of competition requiring complex written solutions.
Both Amber Elliot and Hannah Wilson Kemsley rose to the challenge. A massive congratulations to Hannah for being in the top 25% of students!
