MFL team visit Santander
As part of a continuous drive to enrich and develop our Spanish offering here at CNS, six of the Modern Foreign Language teachers in the department took an ERASMUS funded trip to Santander during the first week of the Easter holidays.
Erasmus is a programme designed to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe and provides opportunities to study, train, and gain experience abroad. The application process for the funding was extremely rigorous and the team were delighted to have been awarded it to help with their implementation and development of Spanish.
The trip was designed to deepen both their cultural and linguistic understanding of Spanish and they all felt that they benefited from it immensely. For some, it was the first opportunity to visit this beautiful and interesting part of Spain.
