Maths Feast 2023

On Thursday 9th March, CNS hosted the AMSP Year 10 Maths Feast, in which over 20 teams of Year 10 students from schools across Norfolk competed against each other.  CNS had three teams to enter. 

Maths Feast is run by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP), a government-funded initiative that aims to increase participation in core maths, AS/A level mathematics and AS/A level further mathematics.  It tests problem-solving and teamwork skills with an "all-you-can-eat" feast of problems! 

The competition consisted of mathematical rounds where students had to use their knowledge and problem-solving skills to answer the questions.  Two of the CNS teams came joint-first during the second round of the event and all three teams scored really well overall.
