Maths gold awards

Congratulations to the six students who achieved Gold certificates in the recent Junior Mathematical Challenge Maths competition. 

The JMC is run by the UK Mathematics Trust. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. It is aimed at pupils in years 7 and 8 across the country. Certificates are awarded to the highest scoring 40% of candidates.

Well done to Ben Jordan, Chris Brooke, Ben Searcey, Joshua Richmond, Dharshan Manikandan, George Philo and Jacob Pierce who all achieved Gold certificates.
