National Citizen Service
This week, our Year 11s attended a promotional assembly to encourage participation in the National Citizen Service (NCS).
NCS is the country’s fastest-growing youth movement for all teenagers aged 15-17, to help them discover who they are and what they can do. It's their chance to explore, be inspired and find their passion and nearly 500,000 young people have already taken part.
It is a four-phase programme specifically designed to provide all sorts of new experiences that can provide help in lots of areas from boosting a UCAS statement or CV to meeting incredible people and finding their voice, all while having a lot of fun along the way.
The programmes are run by dedicated partner organisations who are region specific and who will use their local knowledge and unique expertise to support and inspire participants. In addition, NCS work collaboratively with charities, not-for-profits and private sector organisations to enrich the experience for everyone who takes part.
