OAT Awards Ceremony

Congratulations to CNS sixth former Kimberley Shone who received her Einstein award at the Ormiston Academies Trust awards ceremony on Thursday 2nd March 2017.

Kimberley was nominated by Ms.Woods, the Curriculum Leader for Design and Technology at CNS.

 

Kimberley has a strong ambition to become a Mechanical Engineer, this was recognised in 2015 when she won the extremely prestigious National Arkwright Scholarship. 

Kimberley is an outstanding individual who will go on to enjoy success in the Engineering  Industry and has been a credit to CNS and OAT.

The award is for an exceptional student whose enthusiasm and determination has led to great success in a competition or subject area and achieved some outstanding results. 

17 year old Kimberley is studying Maths, Physics and Resistant Materials for A level at CNS and has applied to study for a degree in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering. 

Out of 31 academies, with approximately over 32,000 students, Kimberley was selected to receive the award.
