PE department receives fundraising equipment

Last year, four of our Year 7 students, Nathan, William, Freddie and Elliott each ran 50K to raise money for both school PE equipment and their football team Lakeford Rangers U9, who they all play for.

The boys raised their £1000 target and presented a cheque for half of the funds to the school earlier this year.  Last week, the PE department took delivery of all the equipment the boys fundraising money paid for which included four sets of cricket equipment, four football goals ready for breakfast club in September, and indoor footballs and bibs.

Rachel Clarke, Deputy Faculty Leader of Performing Arts said "The PE department is very grateful for the boys fundraising efforts and we look forward to using all the equipment in lessons and co-curricular clubs."
