Physics in Action
On Thursday 16th March, the physics department took 32 enthusiastic scientists from Years 11, 12 and 13 to the Physics in Action event held at the Emmanuel Centre in London.
Hosted by Physics Online's Lewis Matheson (the Lego guy), the day was packed full of engaging and inspiring talks by scientists working in the fields of materials science, nuclear physics, science communication, astrobiology, medical imaging and carbon neutral living.
It was great to see so many CNS students so enthusiastic about potential future careers in science and there were some invaluable tips around revision and preparing for exams along the way.
