SAW workshop at CNS

On Friday 30th June, 29 year 7s took part in a SAW workshop (Science, Art and Writing). 

The theme of the day linked heavily with the weather balloon launched back in May. Students learned about the different names of clouds, made anemometers to measure wind speed, wrote poetry to describe weather and created pieces of art to represent clouds. 

They thoroughly enjoyed the day and everyone produced creative and beautiful work.
