Students enjoy trip to Cambridge College during national scholars programme

Three Year 10 students were lucky enough to participate in a national scholars programme run by Villiers Park Educational Trust and the University of East Anglia. The residential course involved participating in leadership activities and academic skills workshops, as well as enjoying a tour of one of the Cambridge Colleges led by an undergraduate.

The highlight of the course was when my group made a very successful presentation to the lead mentors of Villiers Park and UEA. We stayed at Foxton Park Centre and the accommodation was amazing; really pretty with great leisure facilities. On Thursday I felt inspired when we visited a Cambridge University College. It was really modern, comfortable and welcoming inside, yet in an impressive, historic building.
