Year 10 Maths Feast
On Wednesday 22nd March, CNS hosted the AMSP Year 10 Maths Feast, in which 17 teams of Year 10 students from schools across Norfolk competed against each other. CNS had two teams to enter.
Maths Feast is run by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP), a government-funded initiative that aims to increase participation in core maths, AS/A level mathematics and AS/A level further mathematics. It tests problem-solving and teamwork skills with an "all-you-can-eat feast of problems!
The morning consisted of four mathematical rounds where students had to use their knowledge and problem-solving skills to answer the questions. Both CNS teams achieved success with one team being the winner of round one and the other team winning in rounds three and four.
Well done to everyone who took part!
