Year 10 Rugby
The Year 10 Rugby team have had a very busy week this week with two fixtures.
The first game was a long trip to Framlingham in Suffolk, to play in the second round of the National Cup. After the long journey, the boys took a while to get going and they started slow. Framlingham capitalised on a number of uncharacteristic mistakes and scored twice in quickly succession. The CNS boys got their act together in the second half and played some really good rugby. Unfortunately it was not enough and the Framlingham team defended their lead. Framlingham were an experienced team and this showed as they out-played us tactically. However, the boys didn’t give up and fought to the end.
Following this match, the boys met Reepham in the Norfolk County Cup. The home advantage was clear from the off, and the team smashed there way to a big victory, scoring many tries. Some great individual performances from Max, Tobias, who is playing the best he has ever played and new player Casey, who showed what an asset he is to the team by scoring a hat-trick. Overall it was a great team performance and the boys were delighted with the win.
The team will now face KES next week, where a win should guarantee them a place in the quarter final of the cup!
