Year 6 Summer Reading Project
We were overwhelmed by the number and quality of the entries in our Year 6 Summer Reading Project.
Students obviously did lots of reading over the summer break and created some brilliantly imaginative and detailed projects.
We received book reviews, front covers, board games and even comic strips.
The range of books covered was fascinating. A broad range and the most popular books we discovered were:
- Harry Potter
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time
- Wonder
- Jacqueline Wilson books
- Esio Trot
- The Hobbit
- Lies We Tell Ourselves
Some of the work will be displayed at our Year 6 Open evening on Thursday 4th October for our new prospective Year 6s to be inspired by.
Well done to all our new Year 7s who brought in their reading activities. Tutor and House prizes will be awarded next week to celebrate all their hard work.
