Year 8 Short Story Winners

Congratulations to Year 8 students James, Arthur, Charlie, Ruby, Delilah, and Alice, whose entries have won in the recent short stories competition run by the CNS English department. 

All students in Year 8, who have been studying a range of short stories, were tasked with writing one of their own.  These were all read and judged by the English team and the winners were chosen by Ms Curle, Head of key stage 3 English.  All six stories will be published in the school English book at the end of term. 

The winners have each been awarded a set of Shirley Jackson stories, along with a notebook of their choice in order to encourage them to write more excellent stories!
