Transition from Y6-Y7

Transition to CNS begins in Year 6 when we visit our feeder primary schools to tell them more about life and lessons at secondary school. 

At the end of the summer term, we welcome the year 6 pupils to CNS for one week so they get to know their way around the school, experience lessons and meet key staff members. We find that this helps the new students to settle in very quickly when they join us in September.

The students are all given a t-shirt to wear in their House colour and will begin to identify with their House group before they start at CNS.

It's very creative and I have enjoyed the week.

The student leaders have been nice and kind.

It feels a lot better, it has been really fun being here this week.  Y6 pupils
